Around 100 team members from our 3 Ukrainian offices came together in a picturesque historical town in Western Ukraine.
Daxx makes an effort to support team building activities, and this time 100 members of our client’s remote software development teams from Kyiv, Kharkiv, and Dnipropetrovsk gathered together in the historical town of Kamyanets-Podilsky. Team members went sightseeing, visited a historical festival Terra Heroica, and got connected with their colleagues from other company offices.
“Team building is very important in managing remote teams,” says Rutger Jongepier. “At Daxx, we want our remote programmers to feel they are a part of a big and friendly team. Hopefully, events like this will become a good tradition for our company.”
Team members from the three Daxx offices in Ukraine have always wanted to come together and spend some time getting to know each other. A corporate trip to the beautiful historical location was selected for this corporate event. Along the way, Daxx people participated in fun contests and quizzes, and upon arrival to Kamyanets-Podilsky set out for a tour to the local castle. Its rich history was brought to life by the energetic and talented guide, who helped Daxx team members dive into the atmosphere of the place. The evening program included a party with contests, a fun rewarding ceremony, and lots of communication.
Daxx team was lucky to visit Kamyanets-Podilsky during a military historical festival Terra Heroica, that was held on October 4-6. Terra Heroica is based on the Kamyanets-Podilsky museum, and originated as a festival of military reconstruction. Daxx team members could witness picturesque knight parades, archery contests, and reconstructed medieval battles.
The event left bright and unforgettable impressions, letting Daxx’s virtual team members from three offices unite into one solid and friendly team.
